Sandra Van Donkersgoed
I have always led an active lifestyle, but about 15 years ago, yoga and meditation came into my life. They gave me relaxation, clarity and peace of mind—my body also felt so much lighter after a yoga session.
Although I graduated as a Lawyer, I soon realized that the legal profession didn’t truly fulfill me. I knew I wanted to help people, but I was still searching for the right way to do so. Over the years, I held various positions in law, communication, sales, marketing and event management. However, my passion for movement and human well-being was always present. I practiced numerous sports, including yoga, skiing, tennis, running, fitness, (wind)surfing, skating and waterpolo.
In 2016, I founded Spirit & Sports, where I work as a Personal Trainer and Coach (both online and offline), helping adults and children create a healthy balance in life - less pain, more energy and a happier mindset.
Movement, relaxation and nutrition are key pillars of well-being. My holistic approach to personal training and coaching integrates strength and conditioning training, (kick)boxing, Yoga, Reiki, and Frequency therapy. A healthy body leads to a healthy mind.
My Unique Approach
What sets me apart from other trainers is that I look at the whole person - not just the physical aspect but also the mental, emotional and spiritual levels. By bringing balance to all these areas, I help my clients achieve sustainable well-being.
I first practiced Kundalini Yoga for a few years, followed by Power Yoga, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin Yoga. Since 2014, Energetic Therapy has helped me develop my highly intuitive and empathetic approach to coaching.
In 2018, I discovered Reiki, which became a major part of my journey. After completing Reiki Levels 1 & 2, I became a Reiki Master in 2019. I now offer Reiki treatments and Frequency Therapy to support healing and balance.
My Symbol: The Butterfly
The butterfly represents transformation - it’s message is to dance through life with joy and happiness because life is meant to be enjoyed. Butterflies remind us not to take life too seriously and to embrace lightness and playfulness. When you move, you are already dancing. The butterfly teaches us to consciously shape our lives by creating new conditions and opportunities.
